To address why I prefer SAFe 6 compared to SAFe 5, I will start off by saying that the framework SAFe has been evolving, and that this evolution is a result of learning and improving. So SAFe is not just there because we desired a new version for the sake of it, but rather that it was an identified need and the result of multiple organisations realising the potential and benefits of SAFe, and the need for continual inspection and improvement.
