Which course is right for you?

Leading SAFe (SAFe Agilist) and Implementing SAFe (SPC) are two of the most popular courses offered by Scaled Agile. Both courses are designed to help individuals and organizations implement the SAFe framework, but they differ in their focus and the level of knowledge and experience they are intended for.

The Leading SAFe (SA) course is best if you are trying to understand the Scaled Agile Framework in depth, and the Implementing SAFe (SPC) course is for you if you not only want to understand SAFe in theory but also explore how to actually carry out such an agile transformation in practice.

Leading SAFe®

The Leading SAFe (SA) course is intended for individuals who will be responsible for implementing the SAFe framework at an enterprise level. This includes managers, executives, and other leaders who will be responsible for driving the adoption of SAFe across the organization. The course covers the core principles and practices of SAFe, as well as the roles, responsibilities, and skills needed to lead the implementation of SAFe in an organization. It offers a great overview of the SAFe framework.

Questions covered:

  • What is SAFe?
  • What is business agility and how does SAFe support it?
  • How does an organization get started with the Scaled Agile Framework®?

Implementing SAFe®

Implementing SAFe® offers attendees the broadest level of insight into each layer of a SAFe implementation. This course is for you if you want to be a leader in a Lean-Agile transformation. And you’ll get the guidance and tools you need to lead effectively in remote environments with distributed teams. The Implementing Scaled Agile Framework® course will help you understand the roles of each person in SAFe, and then plan and guide a SAFe transformation. You’ll learn how to identify value streams, launch agile release trains, and build a Lean-Agile portfolio. You’ll also practice the principles of Agile product management and product delivery.

Questions covered:

  • How do I plan and coach a SAFe transformation?
  • How can you demonstrate your expertise in and promote business agility?
  • How do you build successful solutions using Agile product management principles and skills?

Summary
