At the end of the day the Stakeholders and business owners care about the end-product and the removal of as many impediments or obstacles as possible. So, what we have to do is ensure transparent and collaborative communication along all stages of Product Development, all the way from the planning phase to the System Demos. And instead of solving issues in isolation, Agile teams approach it collectively. 

A good example of Stakeholder engagement and management is when we conduct Iteration Reviews and System Demos, and show working software and solutions to our Stakeholders in order to build their confidence. Once we gain credibility for the product and have assured them that their investment is safe, we can continue working on the Increments that we want. 

Ultimately, effective stakeholder management and communication in SAFe not only promotes the success of the organisation but also establishes a culture of collaboration, transparency, and shared understanding. It enables organisations to navigate the complexities of change, leverage diverse perspectives, and achieve their desired business outcomes in their SAFe journey.

It’s all about meeting people where they are and nudging them forward (subtly) in the direction we want to go.
